Next to the FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for young horses and the Belgian Championship for Seniors, also the approved stallions are again present again this week at the magnificent Zangersheide domain during the famous FEI Zangersheide Sires of the World. After the first qualifier for the 5-year-old horses it was time for the Sires of the World and the stallions took centre stage this afternoon in the Almé Z Arena for their Opening Class. From the first combinaiton it was clear, the game was on and the stakes where high.

After a particularly exciting class, the victory went to the Belgian rider Niels Fockaert and his 15-year-old Oldenburg stallion Chacco Me Biolley, a son of Chacco Blue and Argentinus who was bred by Stephanie De Sadeleel and had his breakthrough in Belgium under the saddle of Roy van Beek. Fockaert and Chacco Me Biolley managed to stay neatly clear in both the 1st and the 2nd phases and outclassed the competition with a finish time of 25.47 seconds.
