Alongside Olivier Philippaerts, Extra Z, soared under the Belgian flag at some of the largest arenas in the world. With impressive achievements up to 1.70m level, he has amassed nearly half a million euros in prize money and he has wins to his name such as the Global Champions League of Al Shaqab, the Nations Cup of Rome, the Nations Cup final of Barcelona. His standout performance in Calgary, where he jumped two clear rounds, played a crucial role in Belgium's victory in the prestigious Nations Cup of Spruce Meadows.

Success runs deep in the family of Extra Z. He is recognized as one of the best sons of the former World Champion Berlin and the Heartbreaker mare Wucinda, who is a sister to Andreas Knippling’s 1.55m Grand Prix mare, Mandy. Wucinda has also produced the 1.45m competitors Fort and Gluk, in addition to Samuel Hutton’s 1.60m performer, More Than Extra.

Throughout his sport career, Extra Z only served a select number of mares, but his offspring are certainly not lacking in quality or talent. Among the rising stars in sport, we see Extreme van de Kattevennen Z, currently competing at 1.45m level with Niamh McEvoy, alongside promising young talents in the younger tours such as Rockefella, Extraction vd Kattevennen Z and Skye Higgin’s Elton P.
