EXTRA Z

New in this season’s catalogue is Grand Prix stallion Extra Z. With Olivier Philippaerts in the saddle he has jumped to almost half a million in prize-moneys, including impressive performances like the Nations Cups of Spruce Meadows and Fontainebleau and a third prize in the Grand Prix of Rome adorning his roll of honour.

Knowing that he is a son of former World Champion Berlin (Aachen 2006, Gerco Schröder) explains his capacity and power, whereas his Heartbreaker dam has distinguished herself multiple times in breeding. His full brother More Than Extra jumps under Samuel Hutton’s saddle, at 1.60m level as well and brother Fort is 1.45m classified.  

The first Extra Z offspring display the desirable showjumper qualities and commitment that we may expect on the basis of his list of achievements and genetics. Extreme van de Kattevennen Z jumped to placings in the 1.45m circuit under Charlotte Jacobs and Exco van de Kattevennen Z recently made his first international meters with Jérôme Guery holding the reins.  

Extra Z is expected to pass on his sport performances up to five-star Grand Prix level and has excelled with his mentality, alertness and capacity. So all the ingredients are there to take that extra step in breeding.
