DJANGO Z

Some horses instantly conjure up semblances and in that respect there was no way Django Z could belie his parentage. Which is a good thing, because being the son of Christian Ahlmann’s horse of the future Dourkhan Hero Z, interest piqued from the word go.

His characteristic jumping style shows bascule, use of the back, take-off and a magnificent way of clearing fences. It took some effort to finally get him to our Studfarm via the auction in  Mechelen, but seeing him on the job here causes us pleasure every day.

We are going to give Django Z plenty of time to develop his talents and he is currently being groomed for his first public appearances under saddle. What we see at this stage makes him the spitting image of his father, both in looks and model as well as in style. For such a youthful talent he already makes a pretty mature impression. Anything he learns today can be elaborated on tomorrow.

He has such a characteristic jumping technique, always balanced and with upward withers, constantly keeping a perfect balance when continuing his round.

An exemplary stallion who age-wise still looks up to his father, but who has the qualities to tread in his footsteps when he grows older.
