About CARIBIS Z
The showjumping world has rarely encountered a stallion with a presence as striking as the unique Caribis Z. Under Christian Ahlmann, he clinched victories in the 5* Grand Prix’s of Hong Kong and St. Tropez, as well as the World Cup in Leipzig. He has been placed in the Top 5, at 1.50m – 1.60m level, no less than 23 times, accumulating over a million Euros in prize money.
Born and bred at Stud Farm Zangersheide, out of the same family as the iconic As Cold As Ice Z, Caribis Z is the third generation of top performers. His dam Canasta Z performed at 1.60m level with Paris Sellon, and his granddam Carlaya Z was highly successful at the highest level with Judy Ann Melchior.
The breeders were overjoyed when Caribis Z first stood at stud in 2020. His initial crops are unmistakably stamped with the characteristic looks and qualities of their sire, as demonstrated by premium-awarded stallions and auction highlights such as Callulah de Lorette Z and Coco Z, the latter selling for €54,000 at Zangersheide Quality Jumpers – Powered by MBA.
