More than 3 million euros for Zangersheide breeders!

A golden glow at sunset, that is the image of the wonderful late summer we experienced this year. An late summer that couldn't have gone better for us at Zangersheide. In August, after the bustle of the Z-Festivals for foals, we were allowed to prepare for the world championship for young horses in September. A World Cup that had a fantastic edition thanks to all our loyal and new partners and employees, you can also discover or relive the course of the World Cup in this magazine.

For our breeders, the 'golden' late summer could often be taken very literally. The combination of auctions that we organized in the late summer, namely the 'Zangersheide Online Auction', the 'Zangersheide Quality Auction' and the 'Zangersheide Breeders Auction', raised more than 3,000,000 euros for our breeders in August and September. !

The largest share of this proceeds is of course reserved for the Z Quality Auctions of September (p. 56) where we had top prices of € 72,000 and raised an average of almost € 26,000. Such prices are of course impossible without the investments that our breeders make every day, not only materially by investing in the very best broodmares and keeping track of the best fillies, but also physically investing a lot in the care of their horses. All year round, in all weathers. My greatest thanks go to them, because it is not Zangersheide that makes the foals expensive, it is the breeders who do this by entrusting us with their very best products!

Of course, a successful summer does not mean that we rest on our laurels. From 17 to 20 November we will auction the most exclusive broodmares and embryos via the Z Online Auction and from 8 to 11 December it will be the turn of the best 2 and 3 year old horses. For this we will organize our photo and video day on November 6 at our stud farm in Lanaken. In the meantime, we will continue to make the 'Zangersheide Breeders Auction' a household name and develop it into the place to offer your embryos, foals, pregnant mares and young horses in a professional manner to customers from all over the world. !
