Last weekend, on French soil, they were ready for the second week of the Hubside Jumping of Grimaud on the Gulf of St. Tropez and, just like during the first weeks, a few Zangersheide horses also jumped into the picture this week. During the CSI2* GP on Sunday afternoon, for example, there was a top performance for the French rider Kevin Staut with the 10-year-old gelding Beau de Laubry Z, a son of Bisquet Balou Vd Mispelaere and Nabab de Rêve who was bred by Haras de Laubry and who is a half-brother of the Studbook Zangersheide approved stallion Azuro de Laubry Z (Aktion Pur Z). Staut and Beau de Laubry Z were already placed on Thursday and Friday with a 6th place in a 1.40m class and an 8th place in the 1.45m high Longines Ranking class, but held out for the best for during the CSI2* GP. In a jump-off for which 16 combinations were able to qualify, they again managed to ensure a clear round and this performance earned them a 4th place in the ranking. The Irish rider Michael Duffy placed 9th in this CSI2* GP with the 9-year-old mare Surprise, a daughter of Emerald van 't Ruytershof and Contender who was born at the home of breeder Stoeterij Landetta as Eline de Landetta Z. They also managed to ensure a flawless performance in that jump-off.

After the CSI2* GP it was time for the CSI3* GP and here too there was success for the blue/yellow colors of Zangersheide. The 6th place went to the Belgian rider Andres Vereecke with the 11-year-old grEy mare Call Me de Muze Z (Clarissimo Z x Ramiro Z – B: Joris De Brabander & Leon Melchior). They were one of the 11 combinations that qualified for the jump-off and also remained clear in that jump-off.

Also on Sunday there was a CSI2* 1.40m class on the program and in that we saw two Z-horses in the top 10 of the ranking. There was a 5th place for the Belgian rider Rik Hemeryck with the 9-year-old gray gelding Caristello JP Z (Clintissimo Z x Popcorn – B: Johnny Poelmans) and a 9th place for his compatriot Wilm Vermeir with the also 9-year-old mare Dirina O.H. Z (Dicasi O.H. x Clarimo ASK – B: Guido Op 't Eynde). Both managed to keep all the poles in the cups in both the basic round and the jump-off.

The main class of the day on Saturday was a 1.45m high Longines Ranking class in which Wilm Vermeir was also place. This time he was sitting in the saddle of the 11-year-old grey gelding Crescendo MB Z (Clinton I x Jodokus – B: M. Bokdam) and a clear jump-off earned him a 5th place in the ranking this time.

The Swiss rider Bryan Balsiger did even a bit better in this class and became 4th with the 9-year-old mare Scarlina de Tiji Z (Hunter's Scendro x Kannan – B: T&J BVBA). For this duo it was already the thirth time that they were placed this weekend, because on Thursday they already became 9th in a 1.40m class and on Friday 11th in a 1.45m class.
