Studbook Zangersheide is the new number one in the WBFSH Studbook ranking!

We are very proud to announce that Studbook Zangersheide is officially the new number one in the world in the prestigious WBFSH Studbook ranking! Earlier this week, the WBFSH announced its monthly rankings, and with a whopping 6650 points, our studbook is now radiantly at the top. A great milestone that we are extremely happy with.

This ranking is based on the points of the six best-performing horses of each studbook and for Zangersheide, with an individual 5th place, that is still the 14-year-old mare Legacy, the daughter of Chippendale Z and Bon Ami, who was born as Chavantele Z to breeder Romain Rotty. Under the saddle of Irish rider Daniel Coyle, Legacy also performed at a high level in recent weeks, including three clear rounds at the Olympic Games in Paris earlier this month.

The other Zangersheide horses who helped make this leading position possible are Beau de Laubry Z (Bisquet Balou van de Mispelaere x Nabab de Rêve - B: Haras de Laubry) in 8th place, Dexter Fontenis Z (Diarado x Voltaire - B: S.C.R.I S.Ky Horses) in 9th place, Bonita vh Keizershof Z (Bustique x For Pleasure - B: Leon Otten) in 18th place, No Mercy van 't Kamerveld Z (Norton d'Eole x Toulon -B: Patteet and Van Ransbeeck) in 19th place and Sierra du Piedroux Z (Hunter's Scendix x Contofino - B: Claude Noirot) in 24th place.
