The Westphalian Equestrian Centre in Münster-Handorf was the setting for the final of the Westphalian Free Jumping Championships for young horses last weekend. Nearly 60 three- and four-year-old horses appeared at the start across the various age categories, and in the four-year-olds, victory was given a blue/yellow touch.
Victory went to the stallion Asterix, a son of our chestnut stallion Aganix du Seigneur Z and Nekton who was bred by Andreas Beckers and named Apache Van Lee at birth. Asterix was presented by Andreas Westlinnig and also received the highest of the day with an average score of 9.1. Thus, his scope was assessed with a score of 9.2, while he received a 9.0 for his way of jumping.
