KWPN mare Nindita and Jasmin Seppälä in the lead in the six-year-olds after Day 1

The Ramiro Z Arena was the stage for the first qualification of the six-year-olds at the FEI WBFSH Jumping World Breeding Championship for Young Horses. Lots of spectators can to enjoy the quality of the horses that jump in Lanaken at the event of the year that brings together horse enthusiast from all over the world. That the quality was very high and the difference sometimes very small was confirmed in the top three of this group in which KWPN mare Nindita (by Harley VDL) with Jasmin Seppälä (FIN) crossed the finish line the fastest.

Of the 255 combinations, 79 jumped a clear two-phase course over 1.35m. The Dutch-bred KWPN horse Nindita managed to convince with an unbeatable time of 25.44 seconds. The mare bred by S. Strikwerda and A. de Jong out of a Glasgow vh Merelsnest dam kept the Belgian bred Sem-Tex from the leading position in the rankings after day 1.

Sem-Tex

Simon Prouvé rode BWP's Sem-Tex (by Ermitage Kalone J&F, bred by Marcel Sysmans) round in25.76 seconds. Only 0.01 seconds faster than the number three, Sniper Des Lilas Blancs. This Hamilton de Chapitre stallion, bred by Simon-Pierre Herbiet, jumped with Kenda Claricia Brinkop onbaord for the Stephex Stables.

Oki Doki (by Ogano Sitte, bred by Wilhelm Gösling who finished in 25.77 with Enno Klaphake (GER) settled in fourth position. In place five is currently Chatholou Bravo PS (by Chacoon Blue, bred by Gestut Lewitz) who finished with Federico Jacobone (ITA) in a time of 25.85.
