Chapsie Z Auction topper at Second Zangersheide Online Foal Auction

The second Zangersheide Online Foal Auction of this season was a great success with worldwide interest and impressive selling prices. Foals from renowned bloodlines attracted buyers from the United States to the United Arab Emirates, resulting in a successful auction evening with several highlights.

The filly Chapsie Z, a breeding product of Hans Schipper, became the absolute topper of the evening. This exceptional offspring of Chacco Blue and the Kannan mare Ibsie, with granddam Absie (Corland VDL) who herself jumped at the highest level, attracted a lot of attention and, after an exciting bidding duel, was sold for 28,000 euro to a buyer from Germany.

Call On Me D'Grandin Z, a daughter of Catoki and Opium de Talma, also proved very popular. This colt, bred by Norway's Ann Christin Rihm, sold for 27,000 euros to a new owner in Mexico.

Another eye-catcher was Conthaga TJS Z, a filly by Chacco Blue and Diamant de Semilly, which stayed in Belgian hands for 23,000 euros. Breeder Thimo Stegen bred this Conthaga TJS Z out of the mare Nara, the full sister of Olivier Philippaerts' GP horse H&M Miro.

In addition, breeder Sidney Eras' colt Colorado BE-SES Z reached the 20,000 euro mark. Colorado BE-SES Z is a son of Chacco Blue in combination with Nabab de Rêve and is a grandson of the mare Teekitiezzie de Muze (For Pleasure).
