37 stallions approved!

The newest batch of Zangersheide-approved stallions is a fact! During the third edition of The Zangersheide International at Sentower Park, 120 3- and 4-year-old stallions were given the chance to prove themselves over the past few days in front of the stallion selection committee consisting of Eric Levallois, Tim Rieskamp - Goedeking and Stijn Van Campenhout. After a first selection free jumping yesterday, 64 young stallions were given the green light to reappear in the ring today for a second and decisive presentation. In the end, 37 of them earned an approval for the Zangersheide studbook today, ready to make their mark in breeding.

Chacco Blue vs Emerald van 't Ruytershof

If we take a look at the pedigrees of these stallions, we see that there are 2 stallions who each have no less than 5 offspring that were approved for breeding today. One of them is the stallion Chacco Blue, the current number 2 on the WBFSH ranking. Chacco Blue has already given numerous approved sons, so that list was expanded a little today. His sons Saint Blue BH (Chacco Blue x Cumano - B: Stoeterij Black Horses), Charcoal Vd Berghoeve Z (Chacco Blue x Diamant de Semilly - B: Paul van den Bosch), Crypto EC Z (Chacco Blue x Balou du Rouet - B: EC Horses), Callisto Vd Paepehoeve Z (Chacco Blue x Kannan - B: De Paepehoeve Stables) and Cosmos Van Den Doorn Z (Chacco Blue x Arko III - B: Den Doorn Stables VOF) were approved for breeding.

However, Chacco Blue was not the only stallion to see 5 offspring approved, as this was also the case for Emerald van 't Ruytershof. Today, he supplied the approved stallions Em-Si 99 du Piedroux Z (Emerald van 't Ruytershof x Scendix - B: Claudy Noirot), El Diamant D'Em Z (Emerald van 't Ruytershof x Best Of Opus Dei Z - B: Emile Maglia), Skua (Emerald van 't Ruytershof x Cornet Obolensky - B: Trip-Van Ijzeren Anrike), Womanizer Van Loheky (Emerald van 't Ruytershof x Comme Il Faut - B: Loheky Stables) and Vdm de Muze (Emerald van 't Ruytershof x Marius Claudius - B: Bruggeman & De Brabander)

Furthermore, Dominator 2000 Z also clearly managed to make his contribution at this Zangersheide stallion selection with three licensed offspring. He saw the approved stallions Discovery KD (Dominator 2000 Z x Clinton I - B: Kettnaker & Dudek ZG), Sir Dominator (Dominator 2000 Z x Quiwi Dream - B: Dekstation De Havikerwaard) and Dominance 2000 Z (Dominator 2000 Z x Echo van 't Spieveld - B: Stud 2000 BV).
