Beauville Z N.O.P. 3rd in the LGCT GP of Miami

The beautiful beach of Miami in Florida was last weekend once again the setting for the second leg of the season of the Longines Global Champions Tour. It became again a top weekend for the Dutch rider Maikel van der Vleuten and his 13-year-old gelding Beauville Z N.O.P., the son of Bustique and Jumpy des Fontaines who was bred by Pascal Habets.

The bronze medalists of last year's World Championship in Herning won the CSI2* GP in Lier a few weeks ago and made an excellent start to their show in Miami. During the team competition of the Global Champions League on Friday, they jumped to a 4th place in the individual ranking and with that performance they immediately secured a ticket for the famous LGCT GP on Saturday.

During the LGCT GP the duo again delivered a strong performance and after a clear round they were one of the 7 combinations that managed to qualify for the jump-off. They had the luxury of being the very last to start again. Van der Vleuten and Beauville Z N.O.P. delivered again a flawless round and secured a 3rd place in the ranking.
