Nasdaq Z, auction star from Southern Germany relocating to Zangersheide!

Zangersheide

Finally, Thursday the 16th of February will be the day! After two years of online stallion shows Stud farm Zangersheide once again organises their live stallion presentation. The Belgian stud farm has planned an even grander set-up because from the 15th - the 19th of February the Sentower Park in Oudsbergen will be entirely clad in the Zangersheide colours for a spanking new CSI 4* including Stallion Inspection, Sires of the World and the Stud farm Zangersheide stallion presentation.

One of the new stallions live to be admired in the flesh by the breeders is Nasdaq Z, the spectacular auction star of the Stallion Inspection in southern Germany.

Nasdaq Z is a son of Jos Verlooy’s Nixon van ’t Meulenhof (Denzel van ’t Meulenhof out of the dam of Emerald) and comes out of a Holstein mare by Casall and Thoroughbred Heraldix xx.

Judy Ann Melchior is tremendously excited about her new asset: ‘We consistently follow all European stallion inspections, including the one in southern Germany. Nasdaq Z immediately caught my eye because of his unusual colouring and model, but chiefly convinced me with his exceptional jumping qualities. His jumping is straightforward with incredible capacity and striking use of the hindquarters. Some major German stallion keepers also had their eye on Nasdaq Z so it wasn’t too easy to get hold of him during the auction. We do however, find it really important to make the best European stallions available to the large public and so we’re terribly pleased with our purchase!’

Nasdaq Z will be available at the rate of €1,000 including a foal guarantee. So anyone who is going to have their mare inseminated with the semen of this new asset this year, won’t have to pay the full amount until after the birth of a live foal in 2024!

Anyone who is keen to see Nasdaq Z and all other stud stallions of Stud farm Zangersheide in the flesh is welcome at Sentower Park in Oudsbergen on the 16th of February. The presentation starts at 19:30 hrs, with free parking and entry.
